The Friends of the Toronto Oratory is a registered charitable foundation dedicated to promoting and encouraging Roman Catholic education and charitable activities in the USA and Canada. Our inspiration has been the educational work of the Toronto Oratory, which runs St Philip's Seminary.
Why the Toronto Oratory?
The Toronto Oratory provides a pattern for the education of seminarians and laity. Founded in 1975 by the late Fr Jonathan Robinson, the Toronto Oratory has an international liturgical, educational, and musical reputation. Situated in an impoverished urban neighborhood, the Toronto Oratory has trained over 200 Roman Catholic priests.
